To gain knowledge and understanding of the Dangerous Goods and drive accordingly. In particular, they must gain an understanding to deal with a variety of aspects of the movement of Dangerous Goods, from regulatory compliance issues to basic chemical safety. High quality training leads to the safest and most competent drivers. By preparing throughout each module you will be ready to sit an exam paper relevant to each Module and Class. Only when each Module has been passed will you achieve Certification. Suitable for: HGV Licence Holders, or anyone who wishes to drive Dangerous Goods. Individuals or Groups welcome.Please contact us to ensure you have all the relevant requirements to enrol in this Training Course. To enrol for the Training you must be in posession of both parts of your licence,(the Paper Counterpart and the photocard part of your licence). Both parts must be presented upon arrival for the Training. Unfortunately if both parts of your licence are not presented upon arrival you will be unable to start Training. If you are missing 1, or both parts please allow 10 days for the DVLA to reissue

About this course
Drivers of vehicles' transporting Dangerous Goods meeting certain criteria are required to hold an ADR vocational training certificate. Whether you driver a 7.5 Tonne C1 class Lorry, a Lorry over &.5 Tonne C class Lorry (this is the Class 2 licence now referred to as C), or a 44 Tonne Articulated Lorry C+E (this is the Class 1 licence of old now referred to as C+E). If you are required to transport or are involved in the Carriage of Dangerous Goods you are required to hold and ADR certificate. Both parts of your licence both the photocard and paper counterpart are required to be presented.

ADR (Dangerous Goods) Training
The full 5 day course covers Core, Packages and Tankers Modules, as well as 7 Classes. If you only require one or two Modules to be added to your existing qualifications contact the office for a break down on course prices.
The 5 Day HGV ADR Training course in Exeter includes your exam fees. 3 days of your 5 Day ADR Training Course in Exeter can be used towards your Driver CPC hours at an additional fee. Training can be provided at our Training Centre in Exeter or on location at your premises as long as the location meets with the (City and Guilds) requirements. HGV Training Exeter runs both initial and refresher ADR courses throughout the year again at our own training centre in Exeter and on customer premises.
Explosives are available as an extra Full Day of Training and must be paid for in full 3 weeks prior to the Training day going ahead, likewise for the Radioactive Module, again a Full Days Training on it's own and payment is required atleast 3 weeks prior to the Course commencing.
Both Radioactive and Explosive Modules can run online with the Full weeks Training Course for Core, Packages and Tankers including the other 7 classes. So a total of all 9 classes. you will need to contact the office for details and availability. The Explosive and Radioactive modules can be done on a 1:1 ratio as well. Upon completion of the weeks Training or the 7 days if you require the Explosives and Radioactive Modules you will be required to sit and pass several exam papers. Upon successful completion of the exams you will be isued with Certification in all the modules in which you require. The certificate will be posted out to you via the address you gave when registering for the course. Please allow for several weeks upon completing your training and exams, for your certificate to arrive. Any further delays please contact the office on 01392 42 32 22. Courses are run regularly throughout the year, and nu,bers do fill quite fast, so if you require a specific date for your training you will need to contact the office asap to ensure you are able to be enrolled for the dates you require.
If you find that you cannot locate both parts of the Driver Licence, please contact the DVLA immediately. You must allow 10 working days for your replacement licence to arrive. Please take this into consideration when booking the course, and allow yourself plenty of time for the licence to be replaced.

Comments: Class numbers are limited per Training week thus places are allocated on first come first come first serve basis. Confirmation of Training will be given upon payment in full prior to the Training starting.
