Course programme

We offer nationally accredited qualifications in English and Maths on a variety of days and times, including evenings in specialist venues throughout the island and at The College. Our experienced team will support you throughout your studies.


Anyone who feels their skills in English and/or maths could be improved. Good English and Maths skills can be life enhancing improve your job prospects and help you manage your finances more effectively and would be what you need if continuing into higher education.

Our weekly 2 hour classes are held at a variety of times/days including evenings on site at the college, and daytime classes in venues across the island. We will direct you to relevant resources available to you outside of the classroom. To gain the qualifications you need, regular attendance is essential.


These qualifications are FREE OF CHARGE!

The course will lead to a City and Guilds qualification in English and/or Maths at the appropriate level for you which can be taken at any point during the course, as long as you are ready. On completion of these qualifications, your course tutor will discuss with you potential progression opportunities.


Student Services offer advice on bursary funding. Bursaries support essentials such as travel, childcare and kit.
