Course Description:
This course is for those students who have a language knowledge equivalent to approximately 4 years.
You will be following the Edexcel Syllabus and you will be examined on all four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. It is a structured course with prescribed topics and grammar.
During the months preceding the exam in June, you will be sitting mock examinations which will enable you to assess your own progress and the teacher to estimate the grade.
At the end of the course, you should be able to read, write, understand and speak the language in the following topics areas: youth culture and concerns, lifestyle; health and fitness; the world around us; education and employment, customs, traditions, beliefs and religion, national and international events; literature and arts.
The exam will take place in June and you will be asked to be registered in January/February. The units you will be sitting are according to the new specifications.
