Course Progression: Once the course is complete the trainee can then progress to an HNC, and from this onto an HND and then possible through to Degree in Engineering.

Careers Progression: The programmes is designed to extend both practical and theoretical knowledge of the trainee, providing them with the technical support skills required for industry in Engineering.

Course Description:
For apprentices or adults wishing to progress further in Engineering Technical Support within industry. An on the job NVQ in Engineering drawing is supported by a BTEC Mechanical Manufacturing National Certificate delivery at the college.

Description Breakdown:
The Technical Support Advanced Apprenticeship at level 3 consists of an NVQ which is delivered predominantly within your workplace. The qualification consists of 3 mandatory units and 1 optional unit. The VRQ required to gain a full advanced apprenticeship certificate in manufacturing engineering which is carried out as a day release within the college.
