Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering

There are a variety of career opportunities available to staff employed in the Engineering sector, across a range of disciplines including their chosen field, individuals require both practical and technical skills.

Apprenticeship programmes aim to provide these skills via a framework of qualifications, which candidates are required to work towards through a combination of college and work-based activities.Electrical / Electronic, Mechanical, Production, Welding & Fabrication, Maintenance and Technical Engineering.

Prior to Apprentices being signed up, an initial assessment takes place with the employer to discuss the business needs, and to subsequently identify the most appropriate pathway / units within the Advanced Apprenticeship framework.

Membership of a relevant Professional Institution (ImechE / IET) for learners enrolled onto the Advanced Apprenticeship.
