This Apprenticeship is ideal, if you have a kind and caring nature and are eager to work or progress in the health sector.
This course will introduce you to, or extend your knowledge of, the theory and practical skills required to work in the care industry.
Topics covered include:
- Promoting communication in health and social care
- Engaging in personal development in health and social care
- Supporting individuals at the end of life
- Understanding and meet the nutritional needs of individuals with dementia
You will enjoy a theoretical and practical learning experience, gained in the classroom and the workplace. In addition, speakers will visit the College to talk about relevant matters in the care sector.
Good English and maths skills are essential for success in studying and for future employment prospects and so Croydon College ensures that these skills are developed in all learning opportunities.
It’s also important to have good English and maths qualifications and so all students will study English and maths and work towards an appropriate level and type of qualification including GCSE.
