Course Summary:
This qualification is aimed at learners entering the digital marketing sector as well as those already working in the sector who are looking to renew their skills with formal training.
Digital marketing is the use of digital media to attract and engage with current and potential customers, for example online advertising, email marketing and search engine optimisation.
Entry requirements
You need GCSE grades A-C in English and Maths. You will have an interview prior to your enrolment on this course and you will be required to sit an initial English and maths diagnostic assessment and skillscan.
Your assessor will carry these out at your workplace. In addition to good literacy and numeracy skills, you will need to be well motivated and self-disciplined.

Course programme

Course Content: The Level 3 Diploma in Digital Marketing includes a broad variety of units to cover a range of knowledge and skills to help you fully understand the impact and power of social media and how to utilise this resource. These will be discussed in detail with your assessor. To achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Digital Marketing, you must gain 74 credits overall: 27 Mandatory Units 47 Optional Group Units Learners are also required to complete Functional Skills - English Level 2, Maths Level 2 and ICT Level 2. How will I be assessed? A dedicated mentor and assessor will support and guide the learner towards the qualification, with assessment taking place both on and off the job. Key Skills will be delivered via a flexible approach, depending on the learner's experience. You must: successfully complete one assignment/portfolio of evidence for each mandatory unit successfully complete one assignment/portfolio of evidence for each chosen optional unit. Are there any additional costs or specialist equipment required? There are no additional costs associated with the qualification. What can I do after this course? Learners can progress to a variety of Level 4 qualifications from IT and Marketing to Business and Digital Marketing. The apprenticeship can also lead to more senior roles in employment and to higher level training or degrees.
