I attempted two modules from this course the previous summer as I expected to cover the prerequisite to be acknowledged into a Biomedical Science Degree course. I figured out how to finish the coursework and exam for Biochemistry I and III modules in a little more than two months (200h study time). My coach was extraordinary, I addressed her from the begin and disclosed I expected to work at a truly quick pace. She coordinated and cleared up my questions at whatever point I required it.

About this course
The ADL Advanced Certificate in Applied Sciences gives you an excellent foundation in applied science with many options to select specialisation (plant, animal, environmental, health) and very relevant subjects in Science today. It is an excellent tool for people wishing to work or working in science related jobs without formal qualifications, to improve employability and forward your career up the ladder.
The course is written by suitably qualified and experienced professionals and is updated on a regular basis to remain industry relevant. It has also been independently assessed against two qualifications frameworks, so that students, employers and universities can know at what attainment level the course is.
ADL is an approved provider for the National Health Service in the UK and it regularly enrolls students on this course, to help them prepare for further studies. Typically, NHS students will complete Biochemistry l, ll and lll, plus Cell Biology.
In addition, some of the modules of the Advanced Certificate in Applied Science are also included in our Advanced Diploma in Medical Science. This more advanced level 6 course, has been approved by the Royal College of Surgeons in Bahrain, Ireland and Malaysia. This means that the qualification can be used to support an application to Medical School in those countries, subject to an applicant fufilling their other entrance criteria.
