Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management (CTH)
About the course
The Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management aims to provide an understanding of the managerial, decision making and leadership aspects of the international hotel industry and to develop independent research and study skills which will be required when working at senior managerial level in the industry. The scheme has been devised on the basis that students will attend a course of study of not less than 450 contact hours. Private study will be required over and above this figure. Entry Requirements Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent qualification. If English is not the student’s first language, we recommend you achieve a level equivalent to IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL 495. Examinations Each of the above modules will have a two and a half hour examination. This will be set and marked by the CTH. Coursework assignments will also be set to monitor students’ progress on the course. Eligibility for entry to examination
Candidates for the Confederation’s examinations must, at the time of entry, be undertaking (or have already completed) the respective course at an approved educational establishment, and be a member of the CTH.
