Advanced French (Stage 3)

NOCN Level 3
Level 3 comprises two stages - 3A (Autumn term) and 3B (Spring term). Completing one stage will give you an accredited NOCN unit. If you complete both stages, 3A and 3B, you will receive the NOCN Level 3 Award for Languages Skills.

The Advanced course is designed for those who have a level of proficiency in the language equivalent to GCSE or Level 2.

Course Content
This 11 week course follows on from Level 2 / GCSE, building on and adding to the topics and grammar studied and developing speaking, listening, reading and writing skills further. It forms a useful bridge between GCSE and AS Level. Sample topics include health & medical, transport and accommodation problems, contemporary issues, aspects of France, French culture and food!

Assessment
You hand in samples of work done during the course for external moderation.

A variety of course material will be provided.
