Entry requirements When assessing an application for taught postgraduate study, the School of Health Sciences will normally consider applicants who hold a good first degree with at least a second class honours, or an equivalent qualification and evidence of relevant persona
Other requirements Because of the intensity of study, particularly the research component, applicants for the full-time programme must hold a first or second class honours degree in nursing or other relevant topic. Applicants for the part-time programme will usually hold a Bachelors degree, or qualifications and experience deemed to be equivalent.
All applicants must be qualified nurses, usually with a minimum of two years experience in nursing practice.
There is no specific quota for international students and each application is assessed on merit.
International students will be required to have occupational health clearance, supply a declaration of good character and health form certified by their current employer and undertake governance training in order to undertake insight/observational visits. Please note if vaccinations are required, these will be at the student’s own expense
IELTS 6.5 (with no less than 6.0 in any element)
