Advanced Plastering 

You will cover the following units:
 
· Specialist tools and materials used in plastering.
 
· Plaster a full room - some walls you will use plaster boards, some walls you will use floating techniques.
 
· Plaster ceilings.
 
· Extensive patch and repair walls and ceilings.
 
· Increase speed and confidence of plastering techniques.
 
· Understand the different methods used to price jobs, dealing with customers and overcoming problems that may arise.
 
· Supporting information on business start-up.
 
· Telephone, email and drop in support relating to course contents.
 
· It is possible to tailor the course to your requirements depending on your ability and required progression, for example, you may wish to drop and re-board and skim a ceiling, or spend more time on boarding or plaster 2 walls at once.  This can be discussed with your tutor before and during the course.
