Who is this course for?
This course is intended for learners who have some previous experience with watercolours and want to progress. It enables learners to develop their basic knowledge and skills in painting and techniques involved in a painting composition and it will also develop their confidence to use the painting materials and ability to appreciate the art of painting.

What will I learn?
Although there are lesson plans for each lesson learner's progress at different speeds through the course; therefore lessons will be used according to the needs of the individual, when a student reaches a point on a project requiring new instructions, appropriate assistance will be given. This enables students to acquire and practise the techniques that are relevant to them. Course includes: · Material-types of pencils, paper and water colouring mediums · Mixing and applying colour · Painting variety of shapes and forms · Painting techniques and styles · Painting wing individual objects; compositions · Composition painting · Landscape painting

Assessment

Assessments will be continuous throughout the course using various methods including journal, display folder and resource material.

On Completion Achievement / Progression
After successfully completing the course, you will have the skills, knowledge, experience and confidence to continue to a higher level or to paint by yourself.
