Advice & Guidance C&G NVQ Level 4

This course will develop the skills of experienced practitioners in a variety of settings providing specialised advice and guidance services to clients including government agencies, schools, colleges, universities, trade unions, voluntary and charitable services. It is expected that candidates will have responsibility for a client caseload and network with a range of other organisations. The programme is designed and delivered to meet the individual needs of learners and involves a combination of underpinning knowledge sessions, skills workshops, workplace assessments and a portfolio of evidence.
You will study to complete 8 units 4 mandatory and 4 optional units. Some units achieved at Level 3 can be used as Accredited Prior Learning (APL).

When will I attend?
1 afternoon per week for 30 weeks, 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Delivery can also be customised to meet employer needs.

How will I be assessed?
A combination of direct observation in the workplace, individual work, witness testimony and a portfolio of evidence.

What do I need?

• Advice & Guidance Level 3 or
• Relevant qualification at Level 3
• Working as a Guidance practitioner and managing a caseload of clients
