This course is designed to give you a solid understanding of the agricultural industry and prepare you to progress onto studying at universities such as The Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester or to go directly into employment. Agricultural theories and practices are all carried out on the college farm.

How will I study?
Modules include: animal anatomy and physiology, estate skills, crop, sheep & pig production, grassland management, machinery operations, livestock production, soil & plant science, dairy production, understanding and carrying out farm livestock husbandry, as well as an investigative project in agriculture animal health.
How will I be taught?
Through practical and classroom lessons, as well as visits to dairy, arable, sheep, beef and pig farms,
How will I be assessed?
Assignments, practical assessments and short in class tests. There is no formal end of year exam.
