Level Two If you have a dream to work as cabin crew and are interested in the aviation industry then this is the course for you. Travelling to different countries and experiencing different cultures could become part of your daily routine. Taking part in practical assessments at British Airways’ training headquarters at Heathrow Airport, as well as using our realistic mock air cabin, is part of the study programme. This is a dynamic area and the variety of skills learnt on this course could also springboard you into other careers within the leisure and tourism industry.

Entry requirements
There are no specific entry requirements for this course, however you will need to be ‘water confident’ as there will be a practical assessment in a swimming pool which will be undertaken in the first few weeks.

Course programme
What you'll learn
You will complete six core units, which include:
- introduction to airline and aviation operations
- airline health, safety and security
- airline emergency procedures
- role of air cabin crew (onboard).
The course includes practical assessments in our mock air cabin and an airport assessment day. You will also have the opportunity to study level 2 Worldwide Travel and Tourism Destinations and a functional skills in maths or English.
Your individualised study programme will be made up of the following four areas:
- the qualification you are studying
- English and maths
- work experience
- other activities to develop your personal skills e.g. preparing you for employment, training or higher/further education.
