Anaphylaxis and Epipen

Participants will learn to recognise the signs and symptoms associated with Anaphylaxis and also the safe administration of epinepharine via an Epipen prescribed to a specific patient. You will cover: Principles of First Aid *Priorities of First Aid *Approach to an Incident *Airway and Breathing Management *Definition of Anaphylaxis *Triggering factors for Anaphylaxis *Recognition of signs and symptoms associated with Anaphylaxis *First aid treatment/management plan for anaphylaxis. Suitable for: Anyone working in setting where people suffer from Anaphylaxis such as: a nursery, school, play groups, after school clubs, child minders or offices. Also for anyone that would be expected or would like know how to use an epipen.
