Course outline:
The course is divided into 12 modules, each designed for 4 to 6 hours of study. Each module comprises information on the body systems, multiple-choice assignments (50 MCQs in each assignment) and critical thinking questions requiring short and concise answers.

- Circulatory System
- Digestive system
- Endocrine system
- Lymphatic system and immunity
- Muscular system
- Nervous system
- Reproductive system
- Respiratory system
- Skeleton
- Skin, Hair and Nails
- Urinary System
As the course is specifically designed for colon hydrotherapy students, alongside the general overview of human anatomy and physiology, the course critical thinking questions focus in particular on the following aspects of human anatomy and physiology:
- The nature of health and the nature of disease;
- Homeostasis;
- Anatomy of the abdominal cavity;
- The digestive system from the mouth to the anus;
- The endocrine system and the hormones affecting the digestive tract;
- Physiology of digestion and factors affecting it;
- The nervous system, specifically, the parasympathetic and the sympathetic nervous systems;
- Physiology, stress and emotions;
- Effects of stress on all systems of the body;
- Effects of nutrition on all systems of the body.
The course is assessed on coursework - 12 multiple choice and critical thinking and observation questions - and a final 1,000 word essay.
