Animal Anatomy & Physiology - a distance learning course by BSYThis comprehensive anatomy and physiology course covers mammals, birds, fish and reptiles and centers on animals most commonly seen in veterinary practices. Examining how body systems function, you will be able to recognise the differences and similarities between a wide variety of species inclusive of musculoskeletal systems, tissues, cardiovascular systems, senses, nervous systems, respiration and reproduction. In this course, you will delve into the biological mechanisms of mammals as well as other species and learn about the structure and function of numerous body systems with an eye on identifying the unique characteristics of certain species.This course is suitable as a stand-alone course and a firm foundation for further study of animal health and welfare.
