Will I have to study all week?
Course units will be taught on different days of the week depending on the College timetable. Students are expected to use free time to research and assignments.

Will I have a work placement?
No, not for the Award.

Will I have to pay for any materials?
The College provides materials for the course but students must supply their own outdoor clothing (including steel toe-capped boots). We work in all conditions, so purpose made country wear, hiking clothes, army surplus or equivalent kit are ideal. A day bag is also useful.
