Entry requirements Candidates will be required to have a first degree in a biological science subject with 2:2 Honours classification or above, or an equivalent qualification.
Other requirements Evidence of relevant personal, professional and educational experience may also be taken in to account. An applicant can be admitted on the basis of significant relevant work experience in lieu of an appropriate academic qualification but a case for exceptional entry would need to be approved by the Quality and Standards Committee.
International students whose first language is not English are required to have the following English language qualifications before they can register on an academic programme. However, applicants from certain countries may have these requirements waived subject to the University of Nottingham Policy for Waiving English Language Entry Requirements
IELTS 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any element)
