Overview
This face-to-face training (refresher) course covers both the practical and theory-based elements of Basic Life Support. You will learn how to perform chest compressions and rescue breathing (CPR), how to operate an automated external defibrillator safely and how to place an unconscious breathing victim in the recovery position. Awareness training in automated external defibrillators is also supplied.
This AoFAQ accredited one day Emergency First Aid Qualification for the Workplace provides learners with skills and knowledge to deal with first aid situations in low risk workplace environments or workplaces with a low number of employees.
This AoFAQ accredited Qualification provides learners with the skills and knowledge to deal with first aid situations in higher risk workplace environments or workplaces with a larger number of employees. The qualification is for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations (NI) 1982. however is is also highly relevant for a wide range of first aid situations.
The AoFAQ Paediatrics First Aid regulated qualification is specific to infants aged under 1, and children aged from 1 year old to the onset of puberty. It fulfils the requirements of the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as issued by the department for Education and Skills Foundation Stage relating to Early Years childcare.
