APL Gas Course - Approved Prior Learning Training Programme (APL)

Description

This is an in-depth training programme covering all aspects of domestic gas safety as required by the ACS scheme, and it is recognised by CORGI as a managed learning programme for ACS. The course is intended for operatives with plumbing, heating, pipefitting or similar skills which can be transferred to the gas industry. Those without sufficient skills will need to complete the foundation course listed on the main New Entrants page. Following successful completion of the programme, and the necessary work portfolio (if required), candidates will be ready to undertake the 5 Day Initial Assessment ACS Package as shown in the domestic gas courses. for Domestic Core Gas Safety (CCN1) and Boilers (CEN1) at a cost of £645.00 + vat.

Acceptance on to this course is subject to an interview and proof of experience in order to meet the CORGI ACS entry requirements. The format and content of the work portfolio is covered during the interview and induction.

The training manual and certification fee are included in the cost of this course.
