This course is available only to students who have successfully completed a relevant course to HND or foundation degree level. This stage three course is designed specifically as a ‘top-up.'

The course considers the application of physiological, socio-cultural and psychological aspects of sports science and includes laboratory-based work. This is achieved by adopting a number of perspectives and disciplines and considering some key and contemporary themes, such as health and special populations.

In developing a thorough understanding of performance and participation in sport, it adopts a number of perspectives and disciplines, and covers key contemporary themes such as health and special populations.
Students study sport-related issues from multi-disciplinary perspectives, and examine the application of a science-based body of knowledge.
