APPRENTICESHIP CHILDCARE

Who is this course for?

If you would like to gain a recognised qualification that will enable you to work in a school, day care or community setting with children aged 0-16 years, this course is for you.

How long is this course for?

1-4 years depending on how many levels you want to progress through.

  • Sensory and intellectual development

  • Working with parents
  • Health and Safety
  • Essential Skills in Communication, Application of Number and Information Technology. Applicants who have achieved GCSE English, Mathematics or IT at grades A-C, will be exempt from the equivalent essential skill.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment will be an ongoing process. You may be assessed through practical demonstration, oral questioning, assignment/project work, written tests and simulation.
