Is the Course for Me?
To succeed in an Apprenticeship programme you need to be focused on the career you have chosen; you might even want to gain some work experience in your chosen field before you start your course. You will need to be prepared to work hard both within the workplace and at College so that you get the best out of the opportunities to learn.

You could be working for a large national construction organisation or a small local company. Work will vary from development of new buildings to maintenance and restoration of old buildings.

Ideally you will have already found employment with an employer who is willing to support you through the Apprenticeship programme. If you haven't already found an employer then the College will support you in looking for a suitable job. You must be in employment in order to undertake an apprenticeship programme.
