On an apprenticeship you will combine working and receiving a wage whilst studying towards a qualification. You will normally attend college one day a week whilst gaining vaulable practical experience in the workplace. You will work towards an apprenticeship framework. This includes a NVQ Level 2 in Activity Leadership a Level 2 Technical Certificate and a level 2 Functional Skills Qualification. The NVQ will be assessed in your workplace; the other elements of the framework are achieved through attendance at Middlesbrough College. The college may be able to assist you with finding potential employers. The apprentice National Minimum Wage applies to all 16 to 18 year old apprentices and to those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship.
