As an apprentice you will spend all of your time working for an employer and learning in the workplace. You may have the opportunity of attending some workshops throughout your course, where you will learn the technical and legal aspects of your job.

To achieve the Apprenticeship, you will complete a number of
qualifications including the NVQ Level 2 in Sales of Residential Property, a Technical Certificate and Functional Skills*. You will cover a number of units which could include:

· Implement marketing plans for the sale of properties
· Advise prospective buyers on properties
· Provide market appraisals of properties.

How will I be assessed?
Assessments are carried out through practical skills assessments and observations of you at work. A Personal Assessor will make regular visits to your workplace to carry out reviews of your progress and to ensure that you are on target to gain your qualifications.

How long will it take?

The time taken for you to achieve your Apprenticeship will depend on how well you get on at work, but most of all, it will depend on your own
commitment and motivation to complete your training. As a general
rule, this Apprenticeship will take 15-18 months.

Progress to a higher level qualification for example a Foundation Degree.

Continue your exciting and rewarding career in residential property or as a Negotiator.

Achieving this Apprenticeship will give you the equivalent of
5 GCSEs at grades A*-C.

*You may be exempt if you have recently achieved a good grade in English Language and Maths at GCSE.

Entry Requirements
We recommend you have a minimum of four GCSES at grades A*-C, however all applications will be considered. You must also
demonstrate an interest in property and a willingness to learn. Having a relevant job (for a minimum of 16 hours per week), or in some cases, a work placement, is an essential part of an Apprenticeship. You will need to put in time and effort to find an
employer to offer you an Apprenticeship. The Apprenticeship

Apprenticeships are open to people aged 16 and over.
