Short Description: This 1-year GCSE Maths course is based on AQA Modular Mathematics but is suitable for anyone wanting to gain a GCSE Maths qualification.

Where will it take me? Foundation Tier is targeted towards achieving grade C in GCSE Maths. Higher Tier targeted towards achieving grade A*-B in GCSE Maths. You may progress to AS Level Maths if you achieve grade B.

What's it all about? Subjects studied will include:
- Module 1 - Statistics (18% of total assessment)
- Module 3 - Number and Algebra (27% of total assessment)
- Module 5 - Algebra and Space, Shape and Measure (55% of total assessment)

How will I be assessed? - Module 1 - 2 x 30 minute written papers (Paper A: calculator, Paper B: non-calculator)
- Module 3 - 2 x 45 minute written papers (Paper A: calculator, Paper B: non-calculator)
- Module 5 - 2 x 75 minute written papers (Paper A: calculator, Paper B: non-calculator)
Higher Tier is a significantly more demanding option, requiring many more topics to be covered in the same time and it will also require more independent study.
