Description

This is a one year course leading to a GCSE in Arabic Language. The course is designed to develop all the language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking). The course should enable the student to gain knowledge in topics ranging from personal information to current affairs. In small groups the students will discuss all the above issues and write about them.

Requirements: A student who has a reasonable knowledge of Arabic in all four skills either by finishing the beginners' course or as a native speaker of Arabic language can do this course.

What are the main features of this course?
This is a one year course leading to a GCSE in Arabic Language.
The course is designed to develop all the language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking). How is the course assessed?
There is no coursework component. At the end of the course the student will sit three papers, reading, listening and writing.
