In the Aromatherapy course, you will learn how to mix essential oils with a good carrier oil, following the correct processes and you will learn how to carry out stretch massage techniques on different parts of the body. The course will also teach you the benefits of many oils you may not yet have come across. At the end of the course, you will have a good understanding of the essential oils and their properties, together with how to carry out a unique prescriptive treatment for each of your clients.

About this course
Anatomy and Physiology: If a valid accredited certificate is held then this element will not be required. Not required for those holding a recognised level 2 certificate issued within the last 5 years.
Massage: If a valid accredited certificate is held then this element will not be required.

Course programme
THEORY: AROMATHERAPY
A theory module relating to the course is sent to the student prior to attendance. The time spent learning this module will be dependent on the student. There will be an exam based on this module conducted at the end of the practical training.
PRACTICAL: 3 days
(Due to the intensity of this course the maximum number of students will normally be limited to 2, but where possible this course will be completed on a One-to-One basis).
