Course review:
This course is a must for anyone who wishes to use essential oils in their cosmetic products including soaps, creams, shampoos, bath fizz, perfumes etc.
The course covers 40 essential oils and discusses the profile of the oils from many different angles. We look at how they are made, how they should be handled and stored, their therapeutic and mood enhancing properties and how they can be used to benefit different skin types and conditions. We take a look at the chemical components of the oils.
We also discuss how the oils can work in synergy with each other, which oils are best avoided, when and why.
The emphasis during the course is focussing on the essential oils themselves with a view to using them in cosmetics and for general well-being; product making is therefore based around making scented oils for bath or burning. Whilst this course will give you an excellent insight into essential oils and their uses, we do not include physical anatomy or hands-on massage.
