It has had a 100% success rate over the past five years for learners gaining places at their chosen university. The course covers analysis, the design process, research development and contextual reference in Fine Art, Video, Graphic Design, Time Based Media, Fashion and Textile Design, Art History, Three Dimensional Design, Multimedia and Photography.
Learners are provided with their own studio,benefit from good learner-staff ratio and are given personal career advice, guidance on UCAS application, advice on portfolio preparation and presentation and Higher Education interview training.
Key skills will also form part of your final qualification.
Progression
Learners will have the opportunity to continue their studies with Tresham Institute and undertake a HND in Fine Art or Graphic Design, which are run in association with the University of Northampton. The course also provides a sound basis for specialised higher level study in a variety of art and design fi elds such as Fine Art, Graphic Design, Fashion Textile Design, 3D Design, Interior Design, Photography and Art History.
