Art and Design (Foundation diploma)

Course content In term one you will follow a balanced range of activities designed to promote skills and ideas relevant to general art and design. Practical assignments and workshops will introduce you to fine art, graphic design, illustration, 3D design and sculpture, fashion, textiles, photography and IT. The second term will allow you to develop your individual skills and interests and to select a specialist area study, with advice and guidance from your tutors to help you make the right choice. During the third term you will work independently to produce a final major project within your chosen area.
