Art, Craft and Design Inset for Seconday Teachers

The March 2009 OFSTED report on Art Craft and Design makes it clear that secondary teachers should be offered opportunities to update their subject knowledge. It also emphasises the need for ICT to be a part of the Art curriculum and there is evidence that uses of new media and new technologies are a direct link to improving boy’s achievement.

We will also explore the possibilities of taking still images into moving images using easily accessible software. It’s time to get the digital camera out of the stock cupboard and use it on a daily basis, for both yourself and your students!
