Course programme
This course will help you develop your art and design skills as you explore techniques of drawing, painting, printmaking and mixed media including collage and assemblage. As well as exciting practical studio work, you’ll develop a theoretical and historical understanding of art and design practice, demonstrating through your work how artists’ concepts and techniques have influenced your own ideas. You will also be required to learn and apply the formal elements and principles of art and design within your work. With purpose-built studios and specialist facilities for textiles, sculpture, print-making, photography and painting, our School of Creative Industries offers the ideal environment in which to unleash your creative skills. There are inspirational and experienced teachers from a range of specialist and professional backgrounds.
