You will benefit from a rich programme of events and guest lectures at both institutions and from specially-tailored talks, visits, events and workshops involving external institutions and individuals in the UK and Germany. This programme has been developed on the basis of a long-standing and fruitful partnership (since 2007) with the Institute for Art History at the University of Bonn. The programme has a strong bi-lingual component (some knowledge of both languages, English and German, is required). Teaching and learning takes place in a variety of contexts beyond the classroom to foster subject-specific and practical skills. In particular, in Germany in Semester 2, you will take part in excursions to a range of sites such as museums, galleries and historical monuments and you will be able to enjoy the many outstanding art collections and cultural facilities in and easily...
