What will I learn?
In Graphic Communication you can expect to work on projects involving layout and typography, illustration, computer arts, web design, packaging and so on.
Part 1 of all of the AS art courses will consist of a wide range of taught sessions and activities designed to introduce you to art and design. Part 2 will allow you to develop your work in a more independent way based on a given theme.
What Makes a good Art - Graphic Design student?
Strong interest in Art and Design, visit relevant exhibitions, read, try new techniques and processes. Be prepared for anything!
Which other courses link well with this subject?
As with all art courses Art and Design can be taken with virtually any subject depending upon what you want to do. Classics, English, History, Film/Media Studies for example.
