AS/400 (iSeries) Systems Administration

Overview
A detailed look at the day-to-day management of an AS/400 system. General theory will also be covered in this three-day course. All attendees will have the use of a terminal in order to carry out practical exercises such as saving and restoring files, creating subsystems and so on.

Course objectives
Upon completion of this course, the attendee will have gained an understanding of the facilities of the AS/400 system, and be able to exercise the basic administration skills.

By the end of this course you will have learned
How to create a subsystem; how to control the batch and interactive workload; how to manage the AS/400 on a day-by-day basis.
