Progression
Biology is a subject which can be studied in its own right at university. It is often an essential subject to study for those intending to follow medicine based careers such as physiotherapy, radiography, optometry, neuroscience, pharmacy, podiatry, nursing, dietetics, medicine, dentistry, food production and many more. The areas of opportunity are not limited to these however, and many of our students have progressed to degrees in Sport Science, Ecology, Microbiology, Marine Biology, Forensic Science, Biotechnology and Conservation.

Biology is a useful A Level to have when applying for either a higher education place or for employment as it includes such a wide range of skills and knowledge.
