What does the course consist of?
  • Four units, two in the first year and two in the second year
  • The Accounting Information System - how to construct an accurate set of financial records
  • Financial Accounting - how to interpret the published accounts
  • Introduction to Management Accounting - using the internal accounts in decision making

How is the course assessed?
  • The course is assessed through modular examinations in January and June each year. Each of the four examination papers counts for 25% of the total A-level mark
  • Examinations can be re-taken at the appropriate time.
