Who is the course for?
This course is for students who are interested in current affairs and economic issues and would like to develop a greater understanding of the world in which we live. It goes well with A/AS Level Business Studies and Politics and is particularly suitable for students wishing to pursue a career in business, finance or accountancy. It is also a good choice for those science students wishing to broaden their academic outlook.

How long & often do I attend?
You will need to attend 3 sessions each week (4.5 hours).

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is by modular examination. You will sit exams in both year one and year two that are based on data response, multiple choice and essay questions.

What opportunities will this lead to?
You could progress onto a BA Hons degree in Economics, Finance, Business Studies, Marketing or Business Management. Following this you could enter employment in a business or civil service environment in a senior administrative role.
