How is this course assessed?
- AS consists of two written examination units and one internally marked practical unit
- Practical work is assessed using practical investigations set by the AQA
- A2 consists of two more written examinations, and a more advanced investigation which is internally assessed
- The demand for students with a Physics qualification is very high
- Almost all the students who achieve a pass grade in A-level Physics go on to University
- Many universities offer bursaries of £3,000 to attract high-achieving students taking Physics and/or Engineering
