What does the course consist of?
  • Class discussions, debates and small group activities

  • Exploring topics such as the family, education, religion, crime and criminals; also, examining questions like
    · Is the family in decline?
    · Who succeeds in education and why?
    · Who is the typical criminal in society?
    · Does the law reflect everyone's needs in society?
    · Who joins religious sects and cults?
  • We also examine how sociological research is conducted and how different sociologists study society
