The course is designed to provide a basic understanding of Asbestos for those that could potentially be exposed to asbestos. This course is not suitable for those that are going to be carrying out any work with Asbestos or products that contain Asbestos, eg removal of floor tiles containing asbestos. Asbestos Awareness should be refreshed annually. Suitable for: There is a legal requirement for any persons, who are liable to encounter asbestos in their everyday work to be trained to a minimum level of Asbestos Awareness. This course is ideal for anyone who maybe required to work in or on a building constructed prior to 2000. This may include trades such as, plumbers, electricians and joiners.

About this course
There is no pre-course requirements to attend an Asbestos Awareness Training Course.
However if booking as an annual refresher proof of previous Asbestos Awareness will be requested, if the previous course was not delivered by Beaumont (BIACS) Ltd.

Course review:
Under Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006, there is aspecific legal requirement for any persons who are liable to disturb asbestos while carrying out their normal every day work, or those who influence how the works are carried out to undertake Asbestos Awareness Training.
