ASC0202 PEOPLE HANDLING (MOVING & HANDLING)

Course review:

This course is for staff who move or aid the movement of the service users whom they care for. The training will cover all aspects of correct & safe people handling including lifting aids and hoists. Practical instruction is available as a seperate course.

This course can be extended to a full day duration where the staff group is large and hence the assessment period required is longer, or for staff groups where in-house experience is particularly limited

This course is focussed on providing attending delegates with the knowledge to protect themselves and those in their care from injury whilst carrying out lifting procedures.
