· Course Overview: · This course provides an introduction to the Building Services sector with particular emphasis on Electrical Installation. The course can be completed full time or part time as an evening course. In support of students who take the full time route, they will be expected to undertake key-skill study that is at an appropriate level to suit the individual learners needs. The key skills delivery is integral to the course content and includes skills in numeracy, literacy and communication. Achievement of the OCNW L1 qualification is mandatory for all candidates aiming to progress to the City and Guilds 2330 Electro-Technology (Electrical Installation) award.

Entry Requirements: · All applicants for the course are required to undertake a colour blindness indicator assessment and entry assessment provided by the college. An interview with a subject specialist tutor is also required. No experience in the Electrical Installation industry is required.
