About this course

4 GCSEs at Grade D or above to include Maths and English. No experience in the industry is required. Mature applicants with no formal qualifications will be considered. All applicants for the course are required to pass an aptitude entry test which is run by the college. A short interview will also be conducted.

· Course Overview: · The qualification is offered at level 1 which promotes the gaining of work related skills within the construction plumbing industry. This course provides an excellent introduction into the plumbing industry with the prospect to progress to a full technical level 2 qualification in plumbing. It will focus on areas of importance in the plumbing industry such as safe working practice, appropriate conduct and dress within the work area, customer service and customer care. To successfully complete the course you will have to maintain a minumum attendance of 80% and be appropriatlely dressed for workshop activities which include the correct footwear.
