Ashtanga Yoga - a distance learning course by BSYA form of Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga is unique in the way each posture is taught in a pre-ordained sequence with each position building into the next. Physical exertion is joined with Vinyasa breathing and synchronised movement. Your internal muscles will be employed using Bandha and there is a Drishti or gaze point for every movement. By joining Vinyasa, Drishti, and Bandha, you will receive a foundation for effective Ashtanga practice. Focusing on the Primary Series of the Ashtanga system, this course is designed to strengthen the body and make it healthy.
