Assessment:
All levels are assessed by a combination of internal skills test and one external (computer-based exams) which the successful candidate must pass.

Course Leads To:
After completion of the Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and Level 4 Diploma in Accounting, you will be a recognised qualified Accounting Technician. You will also be a part qualified accountant where you can use the AAT qualifications to obtain exemptions from CIMA, ACCA and CIPFA examinations.

The AAT's qualifications sit within the QCF in providing a competence based qualification. The QCF is a new way of recognising skills and achievement through the award of credit for units and qualifications. It aims to provide greater flexibility and choice to gaining full qualifications.
